Scottish Tour

We have just returned from a fantastic few days travelling around Scotland! After a long drive, we were welcomed heartily by the Dunfermline Arts Guild and supplied with hot soup before our evening's recital. The audience were enthusiastic and extremely engaged as we travelled together through the music of Piazolla, Debussy, Liebermann, and Alwyn, as well as a selection of our favourite Scottish and Irish folk tunes.

Following this wonderful evening, we spent the next two days enjoying ourselves in Glasgow and Lanark giving workshops and receiving training from Live Music Now. We headed for a community care day centre for over 65's as well as a centre for adults with learning disabilities, and had great fun dancing, singing, and being conducted by the wonderful people we met there.

This was a particularly special area of Scotland for us to visit, as it is where Elinor was brought up, and we look forward to visiting again soon!
